The location,the laundry facility

The signboard was too dark,it was hard for me who has bad eyesight and really bad with map. And the hairdryer in female bathroom 4th floor didn't work...

The beddings and beds are so dusty. They also have a weird smell like they weren't washed.

Breakfast was good.

This is the first time I write something bad about a place I stayed. Staff wasn’t kind at all. Beds were extremely noisy. Bathrooms were dirty most of the time. I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend.

The place is accesible to everywhere and near MRT.

The place is accesible to everywhere and near MRT. I like the shower and kitchen/dining area.

There’s a room for improvement when it comes to clealiness of the room and the hallway. Also, if you need to leave your shoes outside there should be enough shoe cabinets not just leave them scattered on the floor.

It was a really nice experience staying at this property.

The lounge area was very good also a nice place to hangout with other people staying at that property.

Less Breakfast options. Also they can add a bit of variety on per day basis.

WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED - RUINED OUR TRIP

Nothing - it ruined my time in Singapore

We have been traveling all over South East Asia and this was by far the worst (and most expensive place) I have stayed at!! I booked 3 nights here with my boyfriend in a mixed dorm. The first night, there were 4 of us in a 8-bed dorm - us, a young female backpackers, a young male and an old woman, presumably in her late 60s. We thought it was strange that such an older person would be in our room as she looked Singaporean and didn’t look like she was traveling. We couldn’t get any sleep as all night the older woman burped and farted so loudly the other young female had to ask her to stop - she then took phone calls loudly from 4am until she left the room at 8am. The male also snored all night but this can’t be helped, I know. We complained to reception that morning and asked to switch rooms, which they allowed but they knew which room and woman we were referring to and just laughed. The other young female backpacker had already asked to switch. We later realised after checking into the next room that the other male, the snorer, also asked to switch and of course he was put into our room!! So we couldn’t sleep the next 2 nights either. There were 2 other men who were coming and going all night with their bags and it made me feel uneasy staying there, even with my boyfriend. The men/women bathrooms are on separate floors and they are disgusting. I actually decided not to shower for 2 days as it was better than using the dark cramped cubicle shower again that was full of hair and grime. I saw a lot more older residents using the bathrooms, including the old woman from the first night and they did not care how it was left after them. Women also use the men’s one if it is closer to them. There is a ‘no shoe policy’ but I, along with many others I saw (including the staff!) left them on as the floors were dirty and there is no way I’d go near those bathrooms barefoot!

location is closest to bus and MRT you can enjoying hj lane street, kampong glam, sultan mosque and local cuisine

the room's smelly damp because there's no window there

Good location and nice enough

Great location, same mrt line as the airport and marina bay and the botanical gardens. Nice chill area downstairs.

Very small toilet and shower cubicles. No Windows in the rooms.

The hostel is also known as Five Stones - Convenient!

Location - closs to convention centre and in the heart of historical buildings.

Stairway - to add shoe rack and to use a sanitizer to freshen the air Shower - allocation of rooms should be thoughtful. For example, if a female is allocated a room on a certain floor, there should also be toilet and bathroom for females on the same floor. Imagine needing to go to toilet in the middle of the night, and you have to go through 2 different floors' access doors....

A pleasant hostel in a great location.

Dorms were clean & comfy. Staff were friendly & helpful. Hostel in in an excellent location on Beach Road, bus stoop outside the door. Kitchen was lean & easy to use & common room was clean & very comfy. Hostel has a lift to all floors.

Not enough toilets & showers.

„Preis-Leistung und Freundlichkeit sowie Hilfsbereitschaft war perfekt

Die Rezeption hat immer auf alle meiner Fragen und Wünsche geantwortet. Man ist sofort bedient worden und stets super freundlich. Das Hostel war auch zentral gelegen, von wo man aus alle Sehenswürdigkeiten ohne Probleme erreichen konnte.

Das Frühstück war sehr einfach und ungesund gehalten (Fast Food) Für Veganer keine Optionen.

Buen desayuno y lavandería gratis. Baños sucios y con mal olor.

Desayuno bueno. Buena ubicación e Internet en habitaciones (sala común muy mala). Lavandería y secadora de ropa GRATIS. Habitaciones limpias.

Podrían asear más los baños. Durante todo el día olían muy mal, tanto las duchas como los inodoros. Te piden 20 dólares de garantía por las llaves por persona. Es mucho dinero pensando en que el día en que te vas ya no sabrás que hacer con el.

Buena ubicación y habitaciones regulares

De todo lo demas muy bien, la ubicación del Hostal es fantástico, Hay bares cerca para poder beber una cervaza con tus amigos, restaurantes y de sorpresa hay una eficicación Arabe que no me esperaba, me gusto mucho.

No me gustaron las habitaciones, La limpieza no es muy organizada y el desayuno no cumple con las espectativas

Estuvo bien

La puerta del 4 piso no cerraba bien, eso hacía que suene una alarma hasta que alguien la cerraba. El problema era cuando se noche mientras dormías, escuchabas un ruido muy molesto y era la alarma!

Todo fue perfecto,estaba limpio y el personal era muy agradable y te ayudaba en todo lo que hiciera falta.Hostel muy seguro y controlado por muchas cámaras,el desayuno fue aceptable.La ubicación muy buena a escasos metros del barrio Árabe y de la estación de metro y zona Bugis donde tienes el centro comercial hasta market dónde desgustar la comida local.

Obtienes lo que pagas

Es difícil mantener un lugar así muy limpio, pero se que hacían el esfuerzo por ello.

Creo que podrían mejorar los servicios que ofrecen, en cuanto a renta de adaptadores y guías en cuanto a lugares a visitar o cosas así. Los que están en recepción son queridos, pero no tienen intención de ir un poco más allá
